Sex Therapy for Couples
Sexual difficulties are often about much more than sex.
Desire can change. Couples can become disconnected. Stress, parenting, aging, menopause, ADHD, medication, health changes, relationship conflict, shame, or past experiences can affect sexuality and intimacy in ways that are difficult to talk about - even with someone you love. I am an AASECT certified sex therapist and provide sex therapy for individuals and couples dealing with concerns such as:
Low or changing sexual desire
Mismatched libido
Difficulty reconnecting sexually
Sexual concerns after infidelity
Anxiety, shame, or avoidance around sex
Changes in sexuality during menopause and other life transitions
Sexuality and intimacy in neurodivergent relationships
Communication about sex and desire
Difficulty feeling connected to your sexual self
Sex therapy isn't about judging what you should or shouldn't want. It's about creating a space where you can talk honestly about sexuality, understand what's getting in the way, and decide what you want your intimate life to look like.
You’re not the only one…
Sexual concerns are common—but often kept quiet, leaving you feeling alone. You're not.
Low desire, mismatched libido, performance anxiety, shame, arousal difficulties, or emotional disconnection during intimacy—these are deeply human issues I see every day in my practice. They often come with pain, self-doubt, or fear of judgment.
If you're struggling with sex, you're not broken or alone—and you're not beyond help.
As a sex therapist, I’ve supported many people who felt confused, isolated, or ashamed. Together, we’ll explore the “why” with care and curiosity, and move toward healing, connection, and confidence. You don’t have to carry this alone.
When Sex Doesn’t Feel the Same Anymore
For Women:
Many women experience changes in desire, comfort, or connection to their bodies as they age. You’re not broken—and you’re not alone. Sex therapy offers a safe, shame-free space to explore these shifts, reconnect with your sensual self, and rediscover what pleasure means to you now.
For Men:
As men age, shifts in desire, performance, or confidence are common—but still hard to navigate. Whether it’s low libido, erection issues, or feeling disconnected, sex therapy offers a judgment-free space to talk openly and work toward clarity, confidence, and satisfying intimacy—on your terms.
Exploring Who You Are Without Judgement
Desire isn’t static—and if you’re questioning your sexual identity, interests, or relationship style, you’re not alone. Whether you’re curious about kink, navigating polyamory, or feeling disconnected from what used to excite you, sex therapy offers a nonjudgmental space to explore. Together, we can unpack your desires, boundaries, and evolving sense of self—so you can reconnect with your sexuality in a way that feels authentic, empowered, and entirely your own.
“I’m Not Sure If I’m Ready for Sex Therapy…”
You might wonder if your issue is serious enough, if talking about sex will be awkward, or if you should just figure it out alone.
You're not alone—and you don’t have to be in crisis to benefit.
You set the pace. You won’t be judged. Therapy works even if you come by yourself.
Struggling with sex or intimacy doesn’t make you broken—it makes you human.
If you’re curious but unsure, that’s okay. I’ll meet you there, with compassion—not pressure.

Couples Therapy After Infidelity
An affair can change the way both partners experience the relationship.
The injured partner may struggle with anger, grief, questions, mistrust, and the need to understand what happened. The partner who had the affair may feel guilt, shame, defensiveness, or uncertainty about how to repair the damage.
I help couples slow the process down, understand what happened, establish what each partner needs, and determine whether and how trust and intimacy can be rebuilt.
When sexuality and intimacy have also been affected, couples therapy and sex therapy can address both the relationship and the sexual connection rather than treating them as separate problems.
